Building on last year’s success, 150 orphaned children in the region around Moyale, southern Ethiopia, were provided with essential school supplies. After already supporting 100 children last year, this time 150 children who were given access to education again – a significant step forward!
They received everything they need to start school: school bags, uniforms, shoes, exercise books, pens, and more – items that are essential for school enrollment. Without this support, most of these children would not have been able to attend school, as their families or caregivers simply cannot afford these materials.
Especially encouraging: For the first time, adolescent girls were also provided with hygiene products, allowing them to attend school regularly even during their menstruation – an important step toward greater educational equality.
This success was only possible thanks to the close collaboration with our local partner IGWOCA and, above all, through the generosity of our donors. We say thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
We are happy for every single child who can go to school now – with hope for a better future. And we are doing everything we can to ensure that next year, even more children will get this opportunity. Will you join us?
